lcpix-88.jpg - Again, an excellent shot showing the tedious job of removing exotics from the site as it is maturing into the tall grass prairie. Joe and Alberto are pulling Queen Ann's Lace. The other smaller white flower remaining is common aster. The dark seed pods you see are Curley Dock which was another persistant invasive. These seed heads will be cut and bagged and thrown into a dumpster. The Queen Ann is a member of the carrot family so it pulls easliy.
