HPIM1545.JPG - There is an old saying, a bargain is not a bargain unless you need it. We saw this machine sitting in a used car lot south of Hammon on U.S. 41. It cranked up on the first rotation and after some horse trading with the guy we paid $25,000.00 for the machine. Its a John Deere 690-D LT and was the last item listed in a construction company liquidation. It now a member of our equipment fleet. While we did not have it for the grading portion of the contract Sunbelt Rental was happy to keep us in tools of this caliber for the contract. It did play a major role in correcting a soil erosion event that occured late in the game on the contract.
